1It Stopped Working!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Apr 25, 2009
First of all I barely used this phone. Had it plugged in about 3 times. This last time when I needed it for a job, due to the headset capability, it wouldn't work.

Got a dial tone, no numbers would print digitally, and no numbers would dial when I pressed the buttons. I wish Amazon wouldn't sell this product and wish I had read the reviews prior to buying it.

The phone was ordered at the end of Oct 2008. It's now April 2009. Fourth time I've used the phone.

Don't waste your moneyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. My rating is -5 stars but there was no option for it.

4Great office phone with headset and hands-free  Nov 07, 2008
I bought this for my office after reading a lot of reviews. I wanted an office phone, but didn't want 2 lines and didn't want a built in answering machine as I have voicemail. Phones like this are hard to find.

Firstly, it looks professional, not like an iPod or neon drenched Tokyo skyline. It's black and silver with a subtle blue backlight, not like a kid's toy on your desk. It doesn't need batteries, which means you're not always replacing them and the screen and backlight can thus be powerful enough to read because they're powered by a plug-pack, not AAAs (like the Panasonics which I wanted to buy, but get consistently bad reviews because of this).

Most importantly for an office it has both speaker phone and headset and even more importantly, all three functions (handset, headset and speaker) have separate volume controls. I can't stress enough how important it is to be able to adjust these separately, since most people use a combination of speaker phone and picking up the handset and if you've cranked up the speaker volume, when you pick up the handset, you don't have to mess that that each time. Also, every office has different levels of ambient noise. I use the headset most and it's clear and loud enough on the middle setting. The ringer voume is also separately adjustable.

It also has tons of good feaures like auto call forwarding buttons that work with most phone companies (even Vonage VoIP as I discovered), so you can forward your office to your cell with one button press. It has memory and redial, plus a bunch of speed dials which I don't use. I like the large flashing Message Waiting light, which is nevertheless unobtrusive when not flashing.

Now the few minor reasons why I didn't give it 5 stars. The LCD screen angle can't be changed (although the whole phone angle can be adjusted), so it sometimes reflects the office lights above, making the screen hard to see, but you can probably adust the phone to get around that. As some people say, the buttons are a little stiff to push, which at first I noticed, but now I don't at all. And finally, when listening back to voicemails I notice that the loud speaker sometimes gets a little choppy, but not too bad.

Overall, I think this is the best, simplest and most fully functional phone out there - and it's at a great price.

5Nice product, works well for my office  Jul 07, 2008
This is a straight forward phone that does what I need it to do, and has sufficient buzzers and whistles (e.g. speaker, quick dial memory) to meet my needs. Cost was good. Seems well put together.
